Professional Background
Dr. Ezgi Tan is a clinical psychologist and academic who integrates psychoanalytic understanding with contemporary psychological science. A graduate of Boğaziçi University with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Doğuş University, she combines academic work with clinical practice.
She founded Odette Psychology in 2021, where she provides psychotherapy and counseling for adults, adolescents, and families. Her work covers diverse areas where psychology touches everyday life — including body image, chronic and psychosomatic conditions, autoimmune disorders, postpartum and maternal challenges, relational dynamics, and career development.
Alongside her private practice, Dr. Tan serves as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Ticaret University and continues her psychoanalytic training with the Istanbul Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association (IYPPD).
